| About the Author: | |||||
Dr. Sanjay K Bose obtained his BTech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1976 and his MS and PhD degrees from SUNY Stony Brook in 1977 and 1980, respectively. From 1980 to 1982, he was associated with the Communication Technology Program of the General Electric Co. at its Corporate Research and Development Centre in Schenectady, New York. During 1988-89, he was involved in research on Mobile Satellite Communication Systems at the Teletraffic Research Centre, University of Adelaide. He has been on the faculty of IIT, Kanpur since 1982, where he has been teaching courses and conducting research in the areas of computer networks, multiple-access communications and microprocessor applications. Dr. Bose is a member of Sigma Xi and Eta Kappa Nu and is a Fellow of IETE (India). |
