About the Author
Theodore S. Rappaport?is the David Lee/Ernst Weber Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and State University (NYU-Poly), and is a professor of computer science at New York University?s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He is also a professor of radiology at the NYU School of Medicine. In 1990 he founded the Mobile & Portable Radio Research Group at Virginia Tech, one of the first university research and educational programs focused on wireless communications.
