Computer Graphics has emerged as an important course in recent years in view of ever-growing applications. The present Learning Material is intended for use at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The main objective is to introduce the basic concepts and important approaches.

While preparing this LM modular approach has been followed. Sufficient number of examples, exercises and assistance to difficult questions are provided to make the learning easier and quicker. The material on Computer Graphics is divided into 10 modules as follows:

  1. Interactive Devices
  2. Scan conversion
  3. Clipping
  4. Transformations
  5. Projections
  6. Generation of solids
  7. Hidden surface and line removal
  8. Generation of realistic scenes
  9. Motion
  10. Multimedia.

The treatment in Modules 6 and 8 is exhaustive. The Modules 9 and 10 dealing with motion and multimedia and coverage on fractals in Modular 8 are meant for postgraduate students.
