The book contains a large number of solved problems in each chapter for better understanding of the circuit theory, that will help the students to understand the courses in higher classes. D Roy Choudhury was Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Delhi Technological University, Delhi. He was also Dean, Faculty of Technology, Delhi University, Delhi. He had taught courses in linear integrated circuits, computers, networks and control systems both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His special interests being control engineering, artificial neural networks and petri nets. He received his M. Tech. degree in Radiophysics and Electronics from the Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, in 1966 and PhD from the same university in 1971. From 1971 to 1973, he was associated with the Institute de Reglage Automatique EPFL, Switzerland. He had been with the Delhi Technological University since 1974 till his retirement where he also served in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He also had a visiting assignment at Oakland University, USA. Dr. Roy Choudhury had also authored Linear Integrated Circuits
