Dr. Khalil Ahmad (b. 1949) PhD, was a Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics and Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has a teaching experience of more than 50 years and research experience of more than 45 years. He has published 60 research papers in the field of Functional Analysis and Wavelet Analysis in various national and international journals of reputes. He has authored three books, coauthored seven books, co-edited five books, co-authored research monograph titled “Wavelet Packets and Their Statistical Applications” and produced 16 PhDs. He had taught undergraduate and postgraduate classes for 2 years in DAV (PG) College, Kanpur, 1 year in AMU, Aligarh and 39 years in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He was Visiting Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan for 1 year. Presently, he is professor in the Department of Mathematics and Dean Research, Al-Falah University, Faridabad (Haryana). Besides, he has been invited to deliver lectures within India and abroad. Dr. Pankaj Sharma (b. 1980) PhD has served as Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics, Delhi Technological University, Delhi for more than 1 year. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Zakir Husain Delhi College (University of Delhi), New Delhi. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He has co-authored one book, published 14 research papers in various reputed national and international journals. Besides, he has been invited to deliver lectures at ISM Dhanbad, NIT Warangal, IIT Indore and other reputed institutions. His research areas of interests are wavelet theory and their applications in diverse disciplines. |
